Tvirtue posted a tip elsewhere that using " " and " " worked for him. If you are using an " att.net" email address or an " " email address, using " " and " " does not work in Eudora 7.1.0.9 Paid version. Please let me know if you find a solution. However, since I haven't changed my server settings, it seems like it must be something on ATT's end. I wonder if all this is caused by new SSL certificates that confuse Eudora? Don't know anything about SSL. I can live with my incoming forwarded to a non-ATT account, although I'd prefer not to. I think I'll look into a Relay Server to hopefully still use my address for outgoing email. I've used Eudora for about 20 years and hate to switch to Thunderbird, which seems clumsy to me. I haven't contacted ATT support yet, but feel that it won't help much.
HOWEVER, even though the mail goes out OK, I never receive it at a non-ATT address? I installed Mozilla Thunderbird email and am able to send and receive OK with my ATT related email addresses ().
Same SSL error as when trying to receive email. Last try was on Sunday, Mar 15, which worked. However, this morning I found I can't SEND mail now. Interesting that I started having incoming mail problems on Mar 5, but you are only seeing them now.
